After successfully re-vitalizing the Southeast Texas flattrack racing scene as part of the Carroll Resweber series, the HoustonHotshoe Series was created in the Fall of 2006 by promoter and racer Max Brune.

Our mission is to create the best, most fun and affordable flattrack racing for competitors AND spectators alike. By utilizing the superb facilities of Huffman Motorsports Park, racers compete on the ultrasmooth and fast 1/5 mile oval while the fans enjoy the action from the meticulously-groomed grounds and full concession stands. We recognize that the future of the sport we love depends on the youth and we cater to their needs in both class structure and terrific AWARDS that they can be proud of.
