What's Shaking (at Shaker Lake)?

Beautiful Shaker Lake was the scene of some very exciting informal motorcycle racing on Saturday, April 6th, 2002. Rome "Crash" Comeaux ruled the Open class with his Rotax track-burner, and Daniel "The Rock" LaRocca ruled the youth class on his Honda CR. The excitement came in the classic duels in the Speedway class races between Rome and the legendary Southwest Louisiana Speedway rider, Wayne "Crusty" Jones.

The track had been built in approximately two weeks by The Road Shakers and by members of The Rat Pack.
